Is Suzuki Gixxer Sf250 worth buying?

The most underrated and practical 250cc Bike

                                                                 The suzuki Gixxer sf 250 is the  most practical 250ccsegment motorcycle .This blog is also an user review .The reason why i bought gixxer sf250 is that,My biggest dream Bike in my college days is  R15v3.I mentioned early it was a dream so didn't happend .After completed  the college I got a well paid job not too paid to buy a super bike .so ,i started searching the best bike at the time my only consideration is the mighty yamaha R15v3 I seriously fallen for that agreesive looks .I took a test ride r15v3  that feels a bit uncomfortable in the seating position that makes me thing for a alternate bike .The reason for the alternative bike is  love for the motocycle touring , for that yamaha R15 v3 does not fullfill my requirements .After that i changed my considerations and took test ride for sf250 ,at the time new paint scheme 25th Anniversary of motogp edition was introduced  it looks stunning and the road presence  looks fabulous which made me to buy the Suzuki gixxer Sf 250 .I ride nearly 30k  kilometers  with in that I covered 450 kms in 4hours with a crusing speed of 110-120kmph , lots and lots of commuting and  200-400 kilometer short rides .I didn't feel any discomfort in riding position in traffic or long rides .It gives the mileage which same as the company claims and it is sometime up and down due to riding conditions .The periodical service are not costlier and not cheap .This bikes looks are dazzing from the back and side views ,the front view is not good because of the short type of visor ,if you want better look you can go for a after market visor which looks better Apart from the looks ,the specification is worth for the money even the R15v4 priced similar to the sf 250 then it is  absolutely worth buying because of higer cc engine and powers .The reason why I compared 155cc to 250cc is for the same top speed and pricing . when compared to same segment like duke 250 and dominor 250 both are costlier than sf 250 and both are naked sports bike .compartively duke 250 produces extra 4ps , dominor produces extra 1ps and both have usd fork which lacks in Sf250.

• The refinement of the engine gives better riding experience and minimal vibrations.
• The wear and tearable  parts price when compared to other bikes in the segement priced less.
• The breaking of the bike gives confidence while riding in traffics and wet roads the abs works superb in that.
• The head light gives enough support in night times eventhough it is one of the best headlight in this segment.
• SOCS -Suzuki oil cooling system , it makes the bike engine cooling more efficient  and not able to feel heating in any heavy traffic.

con's;

• This lack the safety features side stand engine cut off  .
• The service stations availablity is less when you are in sub urban areas.
• Windblow because of the short visor there is a lot windblast after 100kmph.
• Gear shifting  feels crunchy even though the clucth feels good and better .

From the pro's and con's you have the choices  .your Ride your bike so its your decision.Make clear the purpose of buying the motorcycle ,choose the bike that suits for the purpose and take the test drive for confirmation.
