the army staff, chief of the air staff and navy chief under the head of defence minister Mr.Rajnath Singh they make this announcement about the scheme. In
this scheme there will be a cadders between the age of 17 1/2 to 23 who will join in this scheme. For the 4 years they are getting the job in the army under the scheme. They will provide the 6 months of training and 3 1/2 years of work service.The package starts from 4.96 to 7.62 lakhs per annum. Normally the army people have a service period of 17 years with all the facilities like pension,medical allowance etc. But here the service is only for 4 years.
From 2019 there will be no recruitment because of this pandemic. Normally the recruitment consumption is 80,000 for a year.
In the 2019 election government manifesto is 1 rank 1 election in this scheme the manifesto is no rank no pension. The government of India announced
a new recruitment scheme called Agnipath.In this scheme the people get the army work for 4 years and they are getting paid 30,000 for a month. No pension, no medical facilities will not be provided. They did not terminate all the employees under the scheme after 4 years. Only 25% of the people who will be the top performers are only going to stay in the army as a permanent. Remaining 75% of the people are getting rejected. The vacancy count is 46,000. They are going to reject 33,000 people.

Why is the scheme getting introduced?
The logic behind the government to introduce the scheme is, we are going to develop the army. The amount that is going to get allocate for this army of this year is 5 lakh thirteen thousand crores. From this two and half lakhs crores are allocated for pension and salary.
From this remaining amount how are we going to improve the remaining?.
Experts says that, government are saying the examples like the other countries if the person is going to start with 18 they definitely
need to join in the army and even they didn't get any salary. Government says to save their money and use it for development purposes.
Why are the people opposing the scheme?
1) The people who have the aim to stay in the army until he/she dies. It is not possible the period is 4 years, if they are come out from
the army they are jobless.
2) Because of this scheme the army secrets are spreading out easily.
3) The person in the army for 4 years doesn't get any pension or medical allowance.
